Information for Members & New Residents

Every resident – whether an owner or a tenant – is automatically a member of the association (SOA). But, a tenant can vote in the AGM / ENG only if he / she carries an authorization from the owner member. The businesses too are members of SOA.

  2. Information for NEW RESIDENTS:
  1. Before you move-in, first meet the secretary and fill a new resident registration form. Provide your email id to receive regular communication.
  2. Collect your parking sticker from the previous tenant or owner of the apartment. A new sticker can be purchased from the secretary to replace a lost or damaged sticker.
  3. You are encouraged to use milk and newspaper delivery service provided by the existing vendor Mr.Ramesh.
  4. As per our bye-laws, no business can be carried out in any of the apts.
  5. Collect the property tax card, water & sewage tax card and electricity meter card from the previous resident / owner. Ensure that the dues are paid till date.
  6. If you are a tenant, ensure that you pass all SOA notices to your owner.
  • A resident who is moving furniture and other heavy house-hold items through the lift or staircase is responsible for making good any damages caused. Any loading or unloading will be allowed only between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to avoid inconvenience to school and office goers. Mind that large trucks cannot be maneuvered within Shivani easily. Heavy trucks could easily damage the driveways that contain a number of sumps & manholes.
  • Any installation of antenna, A/c or other equipment on the terrace should comply with the published rules. You need to fill & submit the form available with the secretary. You need to allow at least 3 days for scrutiny & approval.
  • Common facilities like community hall or terrace garden can be booked and used for your family functions, subject to the published terms and conditions. You need to fill & submit the form available with the secretary or downloaded
  • Residents are expected to park their vehicles only in THEIR OWN designated space. Residents are not allowed to park their vehicles in the designated Guest Parking spaces. Please refer to the website for more info.
  • If you have a complaint, please write in the Complaint book available near the Block-3 Community hall entrance. SOA is responsible only for issues related to the common area & facilities.
  • Security Guards should NOT be used for running your house-hold errands.
  • Common areas of Shivani are non-smoking areas.
