Dear Residents

The Spencer's Daily store at the front of Shivani is leaving their garbage in small drums and a couple of cows are rummaging through leaving the whole place in a mess in the morning. Myself, several of the children and other office-goers are subjected to this nauseating sight, plus smell, plus flies, plus a shower of debris carried in the wind, plus breeding a swarm of flies etc. This is happening on a daily basis, barring a few days as exception. I would acknowledge that the clean it up well later in the day, but my point is that they should avoid the mess in the first place. On weekends they put up a stall outside leading a 'weekend littering specials'

Last year the Secretary of SOA confirmed that he has ‘written’ to them. I have been personally pushing the Spencer's supervisor for the last 12-24 months with some intermittent improvements. It is time SOA takes this fight to the next level by escalating to Spencer's management and / or stopping patronage to Spencer's till the improve the sanitation and upkeep.
